Coach Sed (David Sedmak) grew up in the Pittsburgh area and earned his BA and MA degrees from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. At Allegheny, he was team captain and team MVP for both the football and wrestling teams. He was inducted into the Allegheny Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. After graduating from AC, he was a high school teacher for 33 years in Ohio and Arizona, and a coach for 38 years in PA, OH, MN, and AZ (23 years as a head football coach). Over 150 of his former players went on to play football in college. Coach Sed now repairs footballs as a full time business.
